I would enjoy a tofurkey during this thanksgiving weekend. On friday i went to the big grocery store in town, and there was one left. I when home and started cooking, and at 11:30 pm i had second thanksgiving. and it was tasty. I have been enjoying it all weekend long until tonight. Tofurkey four nights in a row. I cooked up them dumpling that come with tonight too. Sooooooooo much better than thouse tempeh drumsticks that they used to give you. Gross.
On saturday i made some cinnamon buns, and went to a concert at night.
I saw this band the trews. They are apparently a big deal in Canada, but i don't know how many people outside of Canada know about them. It's all kinda funny to me. US pop culture is so pervasive that i can make some refrence and all the Canadians, Ausies, and Kiwis know what i'm talking about, but it just doesn't work the other way around. These folks will tell me about some famous band or movie from their country, and i wonder if it's so famous how come i don't know about it? I could name famous Canadians or Australian, but that only because i know them from hollywood movies or Jeopardy.
