The heron that i ride is epic. It's a super fun little bike. It is not meant to live all caged up in a sad basement, but it is right now. I've got big plans for this bike too. Gears. I hope that it is not just because i am getting older that i feel as though i need a bike with more than one speed. Really it is that i want to go on some serious multi-day rides and going over mountain passes with a single speed/fixie is waaaaaaaaaaaaay tougher than i'll ever be.
Anyway, very little riding has been happening with this soggy spring and summer start. Now, i'm not just some fair weather rider typically, but have you ever ridden with a saturated leather saddle. Talk about the soggy bottom boys. It's just no fun, and this is the only bike i have with me right now.
