Petroleum wrapped produce

It really gets my goat that often times if you buy organic produce in the grocery it is covered in plastic and stickers. I buy organic because i want to limit the amount of chemicals that i put in my body, as well as into the environment. It is counterproductive to not use chemical fertilizers in making a cucumber, and then turn around and wrap it in plastic that is made up of chemicals. Cucumbers make their own packaging. The peel. Nature is so smart. I hate having to choose between extra packaged organics or not packaged conventional produce. It also seems silly to me that oil based chemicals being sprayed onto our food is the conventional way of doing things.

And another thing...Don't label food as traditional or authentic if it has any of the following ingredients: propionic acid, phosphoric acid, dextrose, fumaric acid, cellulose gum, sorbic acid, potassium sorbate, and calcium propionate. All of these were in the corn tortillas that i purchased. I thought corn tortillas were pretty much corn flour, water and salt. Appartently i was wrong, and i got to each a bunch of weird chemicals. Atleast the veggies were organic. I had no idea taco night would be so complicated.
