Trenches

I work hard. My folks definitely instilled in me a good work ethic. I go above and beyond most of the time, but i also believe that if you are doing what you're supposed to then there is no reason to freak out when things get a little hectic. 30 minute ticket times means we're real busy. If co-workers are doing what they are supposed to be doing, there is no need to frantically run around micromanaging every little thing. Having that "in the trenches" attitude doesn't help the situation. Micromanaging usually translates to getting in the way. If you want the dupes to go away, then get out of my way and let me do my job. Be observant of what's going on, and if a fire needs to be lit under some slow poke coworker's tush, grab a match. Until then, back up off of me. I don't need you to tell me that that ticket times are getting high because i'm in the weeds with a full board. I KNOW the times are high, and i'm killing dupes one pie at at time. Relax, this isn't Nam, and we are not in the trenches. Let's just make some pies and have a good time.
