Today was a day of epic awesomeness. After work i jumped on my bike, to embark on a magical journey. The first part was to find the Minuteman Bikeway, which goes from Bedford to Cambridge. The second part was to find Wheeler's Ice Cream Shop. An all vegan ice cream joint that i found out about on the inter-web. Cherry vanilla milkshake....yes please, and small dish of chocolate peanut butter ice cream as well. d to the lish. It was also my my first longish bike ride of '09 season. Forty-five or so miles. YAY!!! My legs are screaming at me now, and i suspect they will still be yelling tomorrow. Along the way, i got up close and personal with a giant raven that was only a couple a feet away from me. I also stop into one of the bike shops along the way because i lost the cap that holds the grip tape onto my handle bars. "Merry Christmas" to me the shop owner told me as he handed me a pair for free. On my way back hotel, i stopped off at the Whole Foods and got some pb & j ingredients. i just finish some of those sandwiches up right now. Call me Lonestar if you want, but raspberry is my jam. Don't get me wrong i'll get down with most jams, but please no grape jelly.
