no house but many homes

home is where you hang your hat. at least that what daniel larusso told me in 1984. after the last couple of years of travelling around i really am finding this to be more true than ever. most of the time where ever i go, i am going home. obviously CT is home. i just spent some time there with my folks and my brother, sister-in-law, and nephews patrick and jack. watching little kids grow up is pretty awesome.
i also spent a bit of time up in the mount washington valley. i am grateful for the people i have met up there. going to north conway is also going home. there is my original flatbread family, and my transplanted ct homies albert and jessica. Chinese Food, fires, cigars, portland and many good conversations.
and now i am back on maui. paia is amazing. it's definately good to be back. word travels fast though on tiny islands...i ran into a bunch of people yesterday, and being on the island less than a day everyone was like i heard you were back.
look at that hair cut....so handsome????
"double Shakas" brah! my luggage is still coming supposedly, so i got me some new slippahs and board shorts yesterday, making the beach more comfortable.
and you know i already went to mana foods twice. BBQ tofu is off the chain.
i swear it is more a delicious than it looks in this to go container.

i will enjoy my tropical home for a few months, and then it will be time to hang my hat in the last frontier....
