Why are moustaches so amazing? My boss here in last frontier has put a challenge out to all the males that he will donate $25 to the charity of ones choosing if they rock a stache all season. i was going to do that any way, but now my moustache is going to be bring joy to the world in many ways: 1. just by looking totally sweet, 2. monies to charity, and 3. free moustaches rides for all!!!!
seriously though alaska is big and awesome. i tied for third in the staff dance contest, but i have to believe my costume and not my moves helped that. pictures to follow because i forgot my camera, so i have to get them from someone.
here are some early pictures of the kenai river. i have already seen a bunch of bald eagles, a brown bear, and a moose with her calf....i am sitting here on the edge of summer, and it looks like everything is ready to explode any day now. it's gonna be magical. i drove to the town of soldotna to day for flowers and veggies to plant. word. so getting dirty, hands in the soil will soon be on the menu after some hardening off. any way here are a few pictures with more to follow on a semi regular basis.
